The AI agents assist with this site’s design and code, with research drawn from public sources including Chesterfield County records, the Virginia Department of Elections, news coverage, and the MBA’s own data archive, and with drafting the posts you read here.
We’re telling you this because people should know how what they’re reading was made.
How we review
Every new post gets a careful read before it publishes.
The archive is a different matter. We built a large (100+) body of back-content in a short time, reconstructing years of MBA newsletters, board meeting minutes, election results, and community history that had been scattered across old files, inboxes, and websites. We’re working through it, and that review is ongoing. We’re not going to tell you it’s finished, because it isn’t.
Either way, everything on this site is ours, including the mistakes.
Please tell us when we get it wrong
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us. If a name, date, vote total, address, or link is wrong - or if we’ve described an event in a way that doesn’t match your memory of it, please email us at [email protected]. We will carefully review every communication we receive.
