The project was a comprehensive rewrite of the Zoning Ordinance of the County Code, and a full copy of the draft ordinance was posted on the county website. The next phase would be for the county to adopt the ordinance.

Why the MBA pressed members to engage
The Alliance told members the project mattered whether their business owned or leased the property it operated from. It argued that regulation was meant to help constituents, but that over-regulation could increase costs, limit the ability to conduct business and harm the community's growth — and that finding the right balance required member involvement. The MBA said it was very interested in ZOMod and invited members' comments and questions.
