The Midlothian Business Alliance held its first Volunteer Clean Up Days in the Village of Midlothian on Friday, September 24 and Saturday, September 25, 2021, partnering with Balzer & Associates and RSG Landscaping. Over the two-day event, branches were trimmed and underbrush cleared at Midlo Mines Park and along Midlothian Turnpike near Midlothian Middle School.

What the MBA said about it
Announcing the event, the alliance described it as the first of hopefully many clean up days, and framed it as an example of what the organization is about: bringing the Midlothian community — civic and political leaders, residents and business people — together to promote communication, understanding and collaboration in making the Midlothian area the best place to live, work and play. The work was described as incremental improvements to the area for the good of the community.
Afterward, the MBA thanked all who attended and said members should be on the lookout for future community events.
